Visit Edinburgh This August
Edinburgh is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK, and rightly so. It is one of Europe’s liveliest cities with a thriving student population as well as being the political and legal seat of Scotland.
Edinburgh is the place to be in August for the world-famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest arts festival in the world.
The Fringe will take place between the 5th and 29th August this year.
Every year for three weeks in August Edinburgh comes alive, welcoming artists from around the world.
Performers take to the streets and stages around the city to entertain festival goers with theatre, comedy, dance, circus, cabaret, children’s shows, musicals, opera, music, spoken word, exhibitions and other events.
The festival is famous for launching new talent as well as some of the biggest names in entertainment.
